Since Gasparian’s passing in 2010, the Armenian Radio Hour of Rhode Island has remained on-air as a labor of love, thanks to the dedication and commitment of Gasparian’s daughter Sonya Taraian.3< Providence Journal August 31, 1947 Providence Journal September 25, 1947 Providence Journal October 5, 1947 Providence Journal October 10, 1947 Providence Journal November 13, 1947 In 1948 WRIB is grantes a llicense for FM.
